Bent Monuments (Information Only)

Before 1957, each chapter made its own pattern for a metal Bent, at considerable expense. If your chapter is interested in casting your own Bent, please contact Angie. Currently, TBP Headquarters owns a wood pattern for a 4-foot-high solid Bent, a gift from the dean of engineering at Purdue University. Our vendor offers a four-foot unpolished Bent and recently started offering an 18" unpolished and 18" polished Bent. The chapter is responsible for the base on which these Bents are mounted.

The estimated price for a 4-ft unpolished Bent is $1,600 plus shipping.

The estimated price for an 18-inch unpolished monument is $400 plus shipping.

The estimated shipping price for these items is $250.

This document refers to the bent as being constructed out of red brass (85% Cu, 5% Pb, 5% Sn, 5% Zn), however they are now constructed from everdur (95% Cu, 4% Si, 1% Mn).
